22-Too Cute To Spend

This afternoon my sister, my daughter and I made
an anniversary bouquet for my Mom and Dad's
5oth celebration tomorrow.
We made flowers out of 48 one dollar bills.
With the remaining two dollars, we made hearts
to adorn their photo at the top of the bouquet.
It's darn cute if you ask me.
Creativity quota for the day-satisfied. :)

20-50

One of my parents wedding pictures,
sitting on top of a vase we had etched for their
50th Anniversary..... January 20th.
A monumental day, truly...... for many who
witnessed the first 25 or so years, it's incredible to
believe this day is here!! :)

17-Thanks Honey

Greg brought me a cup of coffee today.
I took a picture of my cup......
then I had a little fun with texture on Picnik.

16-Blue

The day was much too gray.
I needed some of my favorite color.

15-Ears Looking At You

Gotta say.....photographing ones own ear is
much more of a challenge than
one would think.

14-Snow Memories

Two weeks ago today we were on our way
home from our Christmas vacation.
Six days at Sunriver every year is a MUCH
anticipated event at our house.
Years ago my sister in law Leann had a vision
of our children having wonderful
memories spent in the snow together at Christmas time.
This year I'm putting together a little album to
give her for her birthday....containing some of this years
photos as well as quotes from all of the family members
describing what time at Sunriver means to them.

11-Double the Pleasure

Had a fun time at lunch today with friends
from church to plan yet even more
for our Ladies Retreat.
My friend 'S' has sweet twin girls.
They are so cuddly and warm to hold.....
and SO patient while we "attend to business" :)
Neither was jumping at the chance to get her
picture taken, however.
They are becoming such big girls,
growing so fast.
Here they are "frozen in time",
together on my lap. :)

10-Promises

Zach has been drawing or painting rainbows
for as long as I remember.
I think his first was "colored" on a piece of paper
before he could walk.
This particular craft coincides with our
reading in Genesis. :)
He posted his "promises" on
the raindrops.

9-90 Day Challenge

Finished Day 1 today, 16 chapters of Genesis.
This is something our whole church is participating in.
Small groups, Bible studies, Children's Ministry
and even Pastor John's Sunday morning messages
will all be "in sync" so all can receive the
maximum benefit.
I'm anticipating being changed
by the ancient words of the Almighty
that still hold power today.

5-Tempted

My plan was to photograph the remnants of
Christmas candy.
Someone popped into view and I had a whole new
story to tell.
Not crazy about the graininess but I knew
I wanted to post after I saw the look he gave. :)

4-Fresh

This afternoon I was thinking how nice it is to have
Christmas decorations put away.
Yesterday I'd taken our nativity off of this table.
Love the fresh look for January.

2-My Precious Boy

This was left on my bed as a reminder that Zach
wanted to have a devotional time with me:)

1-Thank You Grandma Moses

Had been a long day, it was 10pm, I remembered
I had wanted to start this project.
Was bummed because of the time of day.
Don't like to take pictures indoors at night without
natural light of any kind.
This sign my sister in law gave me encouraged me.
Who cares about the lighting, take a photo,
BEGIN the project.
Here I go. :)
