In committing to take a photo a day I am forcing myself to get to know my camera better, challenging myself to follow through each day (never been a real "structured" kind of girl), and most importantly, documenting a year of my daily life.

253-God's Gift
Out of all the images seen on my television today,
this one of President George W. Bush was the one that brought
back to me, my "best" memories of 9/11.
When I think of this day 10 years ago.........there was
so much awful...uncertainty....overwhelming sad.
Listening to and observing my President at the time
gave me something to hold on to. His sincere heart, solid and
resolved leadership and calm demeanor helped to calm me.
I'm so grateful for him, especially at that time for our
country.....what a leader.
I miss him.

242-Pretty Organization
Been contemplating for a long time about a way to
store/display my necklaces.
I don't have a lot of space and I didn't want to spend any money.
This little caddy I bought cheap a couple of years ago works
just fine. Our master bedroom is yearning for a mini makeover.
Greg repainted it this summer and the bare walls are a blank canvas
calling out to me. I'm hopeful that September will be a time I can
focus a little on this important room. :)
